This Privacy Policy explains how the Roblox Account Verifier service ("Service") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Service.
When you initiate or complete account verification, the Service may process information associated with your Discord and Roblox accounts.
Following authorization through Roblox OAuth, the Service may receive and store information returned by Roblox, including:
The Service may also process technical information required to complete verification, including a temporary verification state and the time at which verification was completed.
Information is used to operate the account verification service and to associate an authorized Roblox account with the corresponding Discord account.
This may include:
Authentication with Roblox is performed using Roblox's OAuth authorization system.
The Service requests the following OAuth scopes:
The Service exchanges the authorization code for an OAuth access token and uses that token to request the authorized user's information from Roblox.
The Service does not request or store your Roblox account password.
OAuth access tokens are used to communicate with Roblox during the authentication process.
The Service does not intentionally store the Roblox OAuth access token as part of the completed verification record. Once the required Roblox account information has been retrieved, the verification process continues using the resulting account information.
Verification information is stored using the database infrastructure configured by the Service operator.
Stored verification information may include identifiers, Roblox account information, Discord information, guild information, verification status, and verification time.
We do not sell your personal information.
Information may be processed by third-party services that are necessary to operate the Service, including Roblox, Discord, database providers, hosting providers, and other infrastructure providers used by the Service operator.
Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, enforce the Service's Terms, protect the Service, or protect the rights and safety of users or others.
The Service may be operated on behalf of individual Discord servers. Server administrators may have access to verification information through the systems or logs they control.
How a particular Discord server uses verification information may also be governed by that server's own policies.
Verification records may be retained for as long as necessary to operate the verification system, maintain security, prevent abuse, maintain administrative records, or satisfy applicable legal obligations.
Temporary verification state information may be cleared after successful verification.
We take reasonable measures designed to protect information processed by the Service. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
You may choose not to authorize your Roblox account through the Service. If you do not authorize Roblox, the verification process cannot associate your Roblox account with your Discord account.
Requests concerning stored verification information should be directed to the administrator or operator of the Discord server where verification was performed.
The Service is not intended to circumvent age requirements or parental controls applicable to Roblox, Discord, or other services.
Users should comply with the age requirements and policies established by the third-party services they use.
Your interactions with Roblox and Discord are also governed by their respective privacy policies and terms. The Service does not control the privacy practices of those third-party services.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page and reflected by the "Last updated" date.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how your information is handled, please contact the administrator or operator of the Discord server where you accessed the Service.
